  RGS helps our logistics clients define what they want to do – and then we translate that strategy into policies that drive results. We are uniquely positioned in headquarters organizations that drive service-level (Office of the Chief of Naval Operations N4, Air Force A4/7, United States Marine Corps Installations & Logistics), department-level (Department of the Navy), and joint logistics (J-4) strategies. We also work closely with policy-focused organizations (Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy Acquisition and Logistics) that oversee enterprise-wide logistics policy and acquisition that support national and military objectives.

  We shared our proven strategic planning process to develop the J-4 Strategic Plan, the Naval Logistics Integration Strategic Plan, and the OPNAV N4 1000 Day Plan. In each case, we adapted our methodology to the particular strategic needs of the logistics-focused client.

  We have published instructions for managing the portfolios of logistics IT systems, created policies for using Item Unique Identification (IUID) technology, and given input on policies for topics such as independent logistics assessments and acquisition logistics. We understand the staffing and routing processes necessary for getting policy published.
