President and CEO
"In the management consulting market space, it’s all about the people. My job is to make sure we have the right people, in the right jobs, supporting our service delivery teams and our customers.”
In his role as president, Tom is responsible for setting and executing the strategic direction for RGS. He has been a key player in transforming RGS from a systems integrator and IT support contractor into a federally focused management consulting company. He also led the buyout of our firm’s founder in 2006 by the employee shareholders.
Tom has worked for RGS since 1994 in a series of roles with increasing responsibility, including operations (Project Manager), management (Business Area Manager), and executive (Vice President and President). Tom has also held operational and management positions in the U.S. Navy (active duty ’82 to ’88) and Newport News Shipbuilding (’88 to ‘94). Tom holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from Park University and a Masters in Business Administration from Troy University.
Married to Nadine since 1987, Tom has three children: Sarah, Caitlin, and Ryan, and one grandchild, Hailey. Tom is an avid scuba diver – and with close to 150 dives, he is pursuing a long-term goal to be certified as a master diver. Tom also enjoys giving back to the community. In addition to his volunteer activities with the USO and S.O.M.E., Tom was recently selected as a member of the United Way’s Arlington County Regional Council.
