“There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what government consultants are for and why they are here, they will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.” - Douglas Adams
Mike directs the RGS Mission Critical Solutions practice, which provides IT portfolio management, budget and financial management, energy strategy, information design, and strategic business support to headquarters-level logistics organizations. Mike has 15 years of diverse industry experience, including government consulting, educational software and internet services, and manufacturing.
Mike’s professional accomplishments include being named RGS Associate of the Year in 2005 (in a controversial vote that included several hanging chads), supporting the acquisition and implementation of major ERP programs for the U.S. Air Force and Navy, and developing strategic plans for the Navy Chaplain Corps and Naval Logistics Integration Program. He holds a BBA from the University of Michigan where he played football (with his friends in the parking lot before going to Michigan games) and earned his MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
Mike grew up in Traverse City, Michigan where his love for the outdoors began. Whether he’s hiking, biking, golfing, watching sporting events, chasing Detective Boomer (his dog), or taking his son Keegan to the park, he spends as much time as possible outside. Mike enjoys taking long walks with Lori, Keegan, Spencer, and Boomer.
