Cynthia is an authorized People Capability Maturity Model Consultant, having received training and certification from the Software Engineering Institute of Carnegie Mellon University. She supports multiple projects under RGS's Human Capital Line of Business. 

Cynthia has extensive experience in human resources management and human capital consulting from her employment with Wells Fargo, the American Red Cross, and SRA International. She also managed her own business as a human capital consultant and professional trainer and speaker.

Cynthia has a Masters degree in Adult Education from Drake University.  She served as the President of the Iowa Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the Secretary of the Colorado Human Resource Association. She has been active in the Washington, DC chapter of ASTD and the Dulles Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.  She has also served as a business volunteer for the arts through the Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington, mentoring young executives in the management of small non-profit organizations.  She enjoys gardening and reading mystery novels.
