Angela Thompson

Angela is responsible for establishing effective strategies for acquiring, deploying, retaining, and developing RGS’s greatest assets – our people. She also serves as the Corporate Ethics and Compliance officer. Angela loves working in human resources because she gets to develop programs, processes, and tools that enable professional development and growth for our employees.
Angela joined RGS in 2007 after serving in several HR executive roles in both the management consulting and government contracting industries. Angela has over 20 years of experience as a skilled executive with extensive experience in HR management. Angela was also instrumental in a major PR firm’s transformation to earning a “Best Place to Work” award.
Angela is a Maryland native and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. She also received her Human Capital Strategist certification from the Human Capital Institute. Angela currently resides in Bowie, Maryland with her husband (also her former college sweetheart and a retired record producer, TJ Thompson). In their free time, Angela enjoys watching old black-and-white movies with her husband and reading while he writes and plays music.
