RGS Awarded $43.7M Contract to Provide IT and Business Management Services to Navy Headquarters
RGS, a leading provider of consulting services to federal government agencies, announces the award of a GSA contract to support the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) in their mission to integrate and utilize resources to dramatically improve business processes and reduce cost of operations. Under this five year contract, RGS and our partners, Virtual Workgroup Technology Corporation, Accenture and IBM will work with the OPNAV Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Navy’s Director of Enterprise Integration and Analysis to implement innovative strategies, techniques and technologies to improve the business operations of the enterprise.
The engagement specifically provides for strategy development, business process improvement, Information Assurance, and support and enhancement of the Navy HQ technology infrastructure. RGS's Vice President, Dyson Richards said of the win, "this is the largest contract RGS has ever won. We look forward to serving this set of customers to meet the Navy’s business objectives over the next five years.” The project will be managed within RGS's Arlington, Virginia location.
