RGS Announces the Appointment of a Consulting Director for their Human Capital Line of Business
RGS Associates, Inc., a leading provider of consulting services to federal government agencies, announced today that Dr. Susan Krup Grunin has joined the senior leadership team as Consulting Director, Strategic Human Capital Management. Susan will lead RGS’s Strategic Human Capital efforts that support federal agencies with the innovative services and solutions that RGS has been providing the DOD and Civilian Agencies for decades. Susan will be responsible for Human Capital consulting, along with business development for Strategic Human Capital initiatives.
Dr. Grunin spent 32 years in the US Government working for both the Executive and Judicial Branches of government before retiring from the Senior Executive Service. In addition, since retiring, she has spent a number of years serving as a Human Capital Consultant and Organizational Effectiveness Director for Watson Wyatt and Beacon Associates. She and two other colleagues co-authored the book, Strategic Human Capital Management: A Practical Guide, published in 2008, which is used by the University of Virginia for their graduate course, HR 507- Creating High Performing Organizations. Susan teaches HR 507 for University of Virginia and at the Central Intelligence Agency University (CIAU) and she teaches the capstone course, HR 406, Strategic Human Capital Management and the Training and Development on-line graduate course for the University of Maryland University College. Susan’s experience in government and the consulting industry will provide RGS with the capability to provide a greater breadth of services to our government clients who are struggling to meet the challenges of today’s federal Human Capital workforce environment and the challenges that lie ahead with the departure of the baby boomer generation from the government. “We are excited to have Susan join our team!” stated Dyson Richards, Executive Vice President. “Susan’s experience and leadership will help us to better guide our customers to successful outcomes.” Dr. Grunin holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy Analysis and Masters Degrees in both Public Administration and Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Illinois.
