Our clients trust RGS as a premier management consulting provider that delivers tangible results, not just reports or studies that sit on a shelf.  Over the past quarter century, we’ve provided leadership and support to our nation’s government, working with every service in the Department of Defense and the Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and State.  The success stories that follow are a brief sampling of the types of projects we’ve engaged in to help make our government more effective and efficient.

RGS Transforms Team Ships’ Workforce

Team Ships (Program Executive Offices Ships and SEA 21), one of the Defense Department’s largest acquisition organizations, turned to RGS to establish a stronger workforce – one that is more diverse, innovative, adaptive, and mission-focused. We helped create a Strategic Human Capital Plan by assessing current processes, identifying gaps, and recommending closure strategies. In addition to the Strategic HC Plan, we developed an implementation and communications plan – and we continue to work closely with Team Ships to enhance its HC programs.

RGS Brings It All Together for Naval Logistics Integration

Naval Logistics Integration (NLI) is a Navy/Marine Corps/Coast Guard initiative that integrates business processes and technologies to optimize support for naval expeditionary force operations. RGS helped NLI to document and institutionalize its efforts, as well as develop a communications strategy. Our support for this collaborative effort has helped the NLI improve logistics responsiveness and agility, sustain combat support readiness, reduce logistics workload, and decrease total ownership costs.

RGS Cultivates the Navy’s People

NAVSEA had to rethink how it managed its organizational capability so that its resources were deployed effectively and efficiently. RGS changed the way that NAVSEA hires, develops, and manages its workforce to align more closely with its strategic goals. Our strategic plan provided clearly defined goals, while our Competency Alignment initiative led to more effective workforce development and deployment.
