RGS Associates, Inc., a leading provider of consulting services to federal government agencies, today announces the award of a significant task supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) front office to implement its major initiatives. The competitively awarded task has a five year period of performance and is valued at approximately $15 million. Under the task order, RGS along with its partners Logistics Management Institute (LMI), CACI and Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) will provide leadership and transformation support services to assist the front office in its strategic planning efforts and to continue to implementation Competency Alignment across the 50,000 person civilian staff. The Strategic Planning and Competency Alignment initiatives will produce greater situational awareness of the Command's priorities, increase NAVSEA's flexibility to marshal and deploy resources across the Command, and improve the agility of NAVSEA to successful produce effective acquisition programs. Competency Alignment is the method the Command has chosen to improve the way that it develops and manages its human capital to accomplish its mission.
Performing as the prime contractor, RGS along with its teammates will provide consulting and program support services to develop a Command-wide Strategic Plan, competency domain placement, metrics, operating policies and procedures, and competency-wide business rules.
