RGS, a leading provider of consulting services to federal government agencies, today announces the award of a significant task supporting the Navy's Logistics Directorate for Innovation (OPNAV N40). The competitively awarded task order has a five year period of performance and is valued at approximately $24.5 million. Under the task order, RGS along with their partners Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH), SAM, Inc., Maersk Line Limited, and Sierra Management and Technology will provide leadership and transformation support services to help the Navy's logistics community implement actionable logistics improvements that will improve performance, and deliver measurable results into the Navy budget.
RGS and its teammates will provide consulting and program support services to implement an Information Technology (IT) portfolio management structure by defining the future state vision of logistics IT capabilities. This effort represents a monumental change in the management of the Logistics & Readiness portfolio of IT assets. "This is a great win for RGS and our teammates, said Tom McMahon President of RGS.
