Arlington, VA
March 15, 2004
RGS Associates Inc. today announced that one of its long term clients
has been named as one of the top 100 Federal IT executives that "made a
difference" in the past year. A blue ribbon panel of public and private
IT executives selected executives from government and industry who
individually had impact on their programs or communities.
Ms. Rockey, Head of Technology and Innovation in the Office of the
Chief of Naval Operations Fleet Readiness and Logistics Directorate,
made that kind of difference. In the fall of 2002, nearly two years
into the NMCI project, the Navy still had over 15,000 logistics
applications as potential candidates to transfer onto NMCI. In 2003,
she led the effort which reduced the number of applications to less
than 3,000. Her leadership and perseverance were the primary drivers
behind this accomplishment. "RGS is proud to have the opportunity to
work with government leaders like Mary Ann," said Dick Stieglitz, RGS'
President and CEO. He added that: "It is dedicated public servants
like her that are helping the Federal government to make the
President's Management Agenda a reality".
